About Ron
Ron and Nicole have been married for 8 years and have four children: Alice, William, Spencer, and Lillian. They live in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Redmond.
Ron works as a contractor at Microsoft, consulting in advanced analytics and business intelligence for one of their largest financial segments.
Ron is a captain in the Army Reserves. In 2004 he was called to active duty and served as Chief of Intelligence Systems in Afghanistan for US Central Command. Ron is proud to have been recognized for supporting the first ever democratic elections in the history of Afghanistan. He previously served in the Navy reserves and now has over 20 years combined service.
Ron volunteers as the financial clerk for his church. He is responsible for disbursing funds which help members in financial need with housing, utilities, transportation and everyday expenses.
Ron worked for many years in aviation as a commercial pilot and flight instructor, also volunteering as an aviation safety councilor for the FAA. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and sea plane rating.
Ron is a PCO in Redmond and former area chair for the 48th district GOP. He has served on the King County platform committee and worked to defeat Redmond’s blanket property tax increase (Prop 1).
